The DiCOM Box is a basic connectivity system that allows legacy imaging systems
to be added to a digital DiCOM network.
The DiCOM Box allows your imaging
equipment, regardless of age, to be connected to the latest network printing and
PACS systems.
Three (3) Versions are offered to for compatiabilty with 1000 plus modality models.
Add network connectivity to virtually any video-based imaging system.
FEEL free to call 800-260-5053 to see which of the versions works with your equipment. Below are general descriptions and attached are three (3) specification and information sheets for detailed information.
The DiCOM box CA provides “off the shelf” connectivity for a
variety of network applications such as Print and Archive Servers via the DICOM
3.0 standard. Ideal for creating flexible and scalable print networks or tying
various modalities into PACS, teleradiology networks and RIS interface via
Modality Worklist.
The CA captures static video images
from freeze-frame or last image hold up to 150Mhz video pixel clock rates,
2048x1024 matrix. The CA supports more than 250 modalities.
The DiCOM box CA+ is a universal DICOM interface that allows
users to review dynamic images and cine loops outside the normal confines of
modality workstations. The CA+ provides real time video
acquisition and DICOM conversion from both monochrome and color video sources,
capturing at least ten seconds of video data acquired at 30fps in RGB or 1K x 1K
monochrome. Acquisition rates are selectable from 3.75 to 30 fps, and record
modes include R wave trigger, prospective and retrospective.
The CA+ simplifies the connectivity process and provides
cine acquisition, lossless and lossy image compression, DICOM Store, Print,
Performed Procedure Step and Storage Commitment for ultrasound fluoroscopic and
cardiac angiographic systems. The CA+ can be fully integrated
to HIS/RIS.
Add network connectivity to existing host modalities providing digital laser
output with the DiCOM box DVI. This "off the shelf" system
provides an economical solution to connectivity for a variety of network
applications via the DICOM 3.0 standard.
The DVI captures images from native digital laser format for
conversion into DICOM and transfer over the Ethernet. The DVI
system offers complete OCR support to recognize patient name, ID and accession
number from image data, and is ideal for creating flexible and scalable print
networks and integrating digital modalities to PACS, teleradiology networks and
RIS interface via DICOM Worklist. Use with the remote control for even greater flexibility.
